In July 2011, Babcock took this proven expertise into the mining and construction sector, signing an exclusive deal with Lafarge, a global leader in building materials. The £150 million 10-year deal sees Babcock managing Lafarge’s entire fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles and equipment within its Aggregates and Cement businesses across the UK, U.S. and Canada.
